I met you ladies at the K.C. Home and Garden Show in January 2002. That day my thumb and palm area were inflamed with tendentious that was constantly letting me know it was there. At your booth I rubbed a few drops of Emu Oil on the pad area of my thumb to see if it would relieve any of the pain. 20 min. later my pain was 60 - 75 % less and in an hour -- I was 98% PAIN FREE!  I couldn't wait to get back to your booth to buy a bottle. 

Per your suggestion I started rubbing the Emu Oil on my heel spur. I'm amazed ----- it is reducing in size, just as you said it would. I'm using Emu Oil on my feet, on my knees, on my hands, on my face, anywhere it can be of use.

I have recommended Emu Oil to no less that 10 people that I know! I must seem obsessed to them with my testimonials of pain relief. But anyone who lives with pain knows, if you find something that works you HAVE to share the news!

My eight year old grandson was standing on the back of our truck while his dad was pumping gas into the tractor they had just been driving.  Matt leaned over and took hold of the muffler, not realizing it would be hot.  His dad brought him into the house and his hand was red everywhere the muffler had come into contact with it.  I generously applied Diamond Emu Oil to his hand, in just a few minutes he stopped crying.  I called his mother the next morning to see how bad his hand had blistered.  I could hardly believe it when she told you could not see anyplace on his hand that showed signs of a burn.

I was talking to one of you today and I told you what happened to me.  About two weeks ago, I reacted to the second half of a flu shot and ended up with a cold, etc. I looked terrible.  I had a red nose like Rudolph,  red, puffy eyes, and red chapped lips too.  I had just received my new bottle of Diamond Emu Oil and decided to see what it would do.  Within two or three hours, the red was gone.  Thanks again for the Emu Oil.

A month ago my husband purchased a bottle of Diamond Emu Oil from you because he was a little tired of hearing me complain about my wrists and fingers aching.  We had both heard David Lawrence on 61 Country talk about the wonders that Emu Oil worked and, of course, we were a little skeptical, but my husband decided to try it.  
I have typed for many years at my work and in the last tne years have used the computer and my fingers and wrists have begun aching alot.  I have consulted a doctor who prescribed Lodine (a pill to take) and I have used Mineral Ice to lessen the aches.  These worked temporarily, but not as effectively as I would like, so I began using the Emu Oil when my husband brought it home.
Well, I am now a believer.  I no longer take the Lodine (I hate having to take any kind of medicine).  I use the Diamond Emu Oil every night and morning and after every shower, or whenever my wrists and fingers begin aching, and it is wonderful!
I also had a calloused "cut" on the ball of my foot from wearing boots that did not fit properly when we were in Paris in 1985.  It would occasionally break open and bleed, but mostly it was just calloused and snagged my hose.  I filed it down and began using the Emu Oil on it, and after a month it is nearly, completely closed.  I had use Neosporene and various other ointments on it but of them worked.  This did!  I have purchased a bottle for my sister who lives in another city and she is also now a believer.  I am now on my second bottle and so glad my husband got it for me. I started using emu oil a few months ago.  I bought it for a face moisturizer.  Boy, is it ever a fabulous moisturizer, but that was only scratching the surface.  I was astounded at all the incredible things this oil does.  It has helped my arthritis.  I also had an an abscessed tooth when I purchased the oil, and I rubbed it on my jaw and right on the abscessed tooth, and I didn't ned any aspirin for the pain.  I was impressed to say the least.  My daughter had a serious rash all over her body and I sent the oil to her and it helped her greatly.  I have had a lot of lower back pain and I rub the oil on it and lay on a heating pad, and the pain leaves.  I had some sores I couldn't get to heal and they were always tender until I used the oil on them, and it immediately relieved the pain and healed them.  I take very healing hot soaks with the oil mixed with epson salts and it is marvelous.  My aches and pains are soothed away.  I then experienced the oil in quite a unique way.  I'm a retired hairdresser and I have done my own permanents for 25 years and never have I over-processed my hair until recently.  My hair was so dry and brittle until I applied the oil directly to my hair and used it like an oil treatment and then I put the oil in my deep conditioning treatments and put the oil in my water in the water bottle.  I wet my hair down with the oil each day since I wear my hair in the perm look.  It conditioned my hair within three weeks.  Just three applications, my hair felt so soft and didn't resemble being over-processed or dry.  This is a product I never want to be without!

I'm Lois Cheatham from Holden, MO, one of your new distributors.  I just wanted to send you a quick follow-up and let you know how happy we are with the emu products.
The soap is beyond anything that I've ever used before.  Having oily skin, I'm hesitant to use anything that might increase the "oil" on my skin.  I still struggle with my skin breaking out and I'm well, let's say, way past puberty.  Even with oily skin, I see fine liens and have that dry, tight feeling after cleansing my face.  With the soaps, my skin is so fresh looking and the oil serves superbly as a moisturizer.  It is incredible!
You might recall that I originally called because my cuticles were cracked and split.  After just one week of using the cuticle oil, my fingers were healed.  No more nights of laying in bed with throbbing fingertips or sore hands.  Also, with just a few drops of oil twice a  day on my hands, the tiny, dry lines are disappearing.  My skin looks and feels wonderful.
My husband is also using the products and loves them.  He likes the fact that it takes only a few drops to do the trick!

Hi, my name is Jeanette P.  I recently purchased some of your products and now my whole family is using them.  My oldest son has a problem acne, oily skin, and hair.  Since he started using the soap and shampoo bar, his face and back are clearing up, his hair looks 100% better.  The pain in my hands and back is so much better since I started using the oil.  The arthritis pain I suffer from is so much better.  My husband even uses it on his joints, my daughter used it on her sunburn and the relief was just seconds after it was applied.  There is one problem you did not know, my niece developed a ringworm on her forehead, we applied the oil to help the itch and it dried it up and stopped the growth after applying it 3 times a day for 2 days.  We just put in on and put a bandaid on it.

My first exposure to your Aboriginal Oil Gel Caps was in the March 1997 issue of Emu Today and Tomorrow.  I have always had high cholesterol levels, and was truly excited to read the case studies showing blood level improvements after using the gel caps.  I knew right away this was something I could benefit from, and wanted also to distribute this product.   But I had to prove it to myself so I could promote with confidence.

On March 14, 1997, my blood was drawn for a fasting (14 hour) lipid profile. This was to be my baseline.  I then began ingesting two gel caps daily, in the in the morning and one in the evening.  I did not change my diet in any way.  If anything, I probably ate worse than normal.  I wanted to know for sure any improvement or changes were due strictly to the gel caps and dietary.  Well, after a month and a half (one complete bottle's worth) I was ready to retest.  On May 8, 1997, my blood was again drawn for a fasting (14 hour) lipid profile.  I just received the results yesterday, and am I pleased!  I would like to share those with you.

A Veterinarian's Testimonial of Emu Oil

I started applying the benefits of Emu Oil to veterinary medicine approximately one year ago.  An emu breeder informed me of the human application, i.e., moisturizer, anti-inflammatory and transport carrier for medicine.  Considering these human applications it seemed reasonable to apply those benefits to the animal population.

Originally I considered the human application for anti-inflammatory properties and transport media and felt there woudl be applications to management of horse wounds, especially lower leg wounds.  Although anectodal, when used in combination with other drugs, I found accerlerated wound healing and decreased tendency toward proud flesh.  Depending on the type of wound, I often combined Emu Oil with DMSO or dexamethsasone, or gentamicin for use in the management of wounds.

On distal leg wounds where there is decreased muscle, therefore decreased circulation and tendency for production of proud flesh, I found that when Emu Oil was combined with dexamethasone and an antibiotic, usually gentocin, the animal was much less likely to produce proud flesh.

Management of non-suturable wounds with twice daily application of Emu Oil and bandage changes markedly reduced this smae phenomenon.  Ephthialization of these wounds treated with Emu Oil preparation was faster and less scarring was noted.  Likewise dehiscence of sutured wounds was less in Emu Oil treated equine patients.

Although I have not yet used Emu Oil in lame or arthritic horses, I am interested in combing the oil with NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) to control stiffness and pain in those affected joints.  Based on claims of anti-inflammatory actions and transport carrier claims it seems logical to apply these uses to this are of equine medicine.

I have combined preparations using Emu Oil in bovine medicine also.  A frequent winter lesion seen in dairy cattle is frosted teat ends.  The teat end freezes and skin around the teat sloughs.   The Emu Oil has accerlerated healing in these lesions and made it possible to continue milking in cow through the healing process.  In this type of lesion Emu Oil is used alone for reasons of milk residues.  This is an area where even bacteriostatic claims apply as well as those previously mentioned.

Similarly, in bovine practice ringworm lesions in calves is seen commonly.  When the oil was combined with fulvacin, an anti-fungal medication, these lesions resolved and at a faster rate than when using other conventional techniques, i.e., bleach, iodine preparations, etc. 

Even in small animal practice I have found application for Emu Oil in wound management.  One important area in which I have found application is cast sore lesions.  When the cast is worn by a small animal the cast often gets wet or causes pressure on bony prominent areas.  Dermatitis or cast sores develop.  Whe the cast is removed there are wounds which have to be managed.  Emu Oil combinations have accelerated the healing process markedly. 

These oil applications used in my mixed animal veterinary practice are anecdotal. However,  I frequently photograph lesions to determine the process of healing, especially in wounds which will require long term care.  I have slides (photos) for many Emu Oil treated patients.  I have been satisfied with the effects the oil provides and I will continue to use its preparations in my practice as well as to look for new applications of Emu Oil benefits.
